About the Program

The Manufacturing program covers the foundational knowledge and skills required for an advanced manufacturing environment. These courses include Advanced Manufacturing industrial processing, CAD designing, and Welding Fabrication. The program is a multi-course series designed around project-based learning with hands-on industry applications. It introduces a variety of technologies, designs, and automated machine operations currently used in industry.

Meet the Team

Pablo Alejandro Lozano, also known as Alex, is a licensed educator who teaches a Career and Technical Education Manufacturing program in Salem, Oregon. He has been a dedicated member of the Willamette Career Academy (WCA) since 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Food Systems, with a major in Agricultural Education from Washington State University. In March of 2026, Mr. L. also received his Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction in STEM from Southern Oregon University. He has 26 years of trade experience as a journey-level electrician, welder/fabricator, and industrial packaging mechanic specialist.
