Certified Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $23–$28/hour DOE

Canyon Family Health is a community-centered primary care clinic committed to compassionate, accessible, and high-quality care. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a team-based environment and is eager to support both patients and providers in delivering exceptional care.

Position Summary: Reliable, patient-centered CMA supporting efficient clinic flow, provider productivity, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients; obtain/document vitals, histories, chief complaints

• Administer immunizations/medications per scope

• Perform point-of-care testing, EKGs, injections, ear lavages

• Assist with procedures and ensure accurate EHR documentation

• Support refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and care gap outreach

• Maintain stocked exam rooms; follow OSHA and infection control standards

• Support inventory management and quality initiatives

• Communicate professionally and uphold HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current CMA credential and BLS certification

• Primary care experience preferred

• Strong organization, communication, multitasking skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• 401(k) or Roth IRA with 4% employer match

• QSEHRA health reimbursement arrangement

• PTO accrual: 2 hours per 40 worked (begins day one)

• 6 paid holidays (NYD, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

• Retirement and QSEHRA eligibility after 3-month introductory period
